Too Many Chefs creator returns to skewer video games and streamer culture

In 2014, Adult Swim published an “infomercial” known as Too Many Chefs that became an instant viral hit. The darkly humorous, surreal comedy parodied the corny ensemble-oriented title topics of the seventies and ‘80s sitcoms earlier than spiraling into a bizarre slasher film that confounded clarification. Now, writer Casper Kelly is again with some other parody — but this time, it ’s aimed toward the culture of video games and people who circulation them.

Final Deployment 4: Queen Fight Walkthrough, created by means of Kelly and Nick Gibbons, begins as a (barely) over-the-top caricature starring Blair Trigger, a streamer playing what best possible resembles a nasty Gears of Struggle sport. In among dropping his best puns (“ass-id juice, see what I did there”) and playthrough tips, Blair reads aloud questions and feedback from enthusiasts like “Masterqueef453.”

However, as with Too Many Cooks, there ’s a twist. The comic strip tumbles from a brutal satire approximately streaming right into a full-blown existential obstacle. Revel In!
