EVE Online’s, endless sci-fi universe is coming to phone. EVE’s developer CCP Games announced today that a new version of multiplayer game will be soon released in some countries before it goes worldwide. The game named Project Aurora will be free to play. Game is being developed by Finnish Studio PlayRaven.
Game offers a dizzyingly complex discoverable universe, looks much like first version of EVE released in 2003. CCP CEO Hilmar Veigar Petursson says “For years we’ve been wishing to bring EVE Universe to mobile platforms”
Company describes the future game as:
“In Project Aurora, players have to work together to control the center of galaxy to be the strongest union of universe. Project Aurora will be a multiplayer mobile universe full of player episodes.”
Besides this, Aurora won’t be the first side product of popular game; CCP also published a space battle game “EVE Valkyrie” and entered VR scene. CCP announced their plans to make the game free to atract popularity. They said “We do our best to get more people in our good looking pool”
